What this site collects, which is almost nothing.
We argue on this site that data protection belongs in the defaults rather than in a later release. This page is that argument applied to us.
This website
No cookies. No analytics. No advertising or tracking pixels. No fonts, scripts or images loaded from anyone else’s servers — every file this page uses is served from modernai.sa. Nothing you do here is recorded or profiled, and nothing about your visit is shared with a third party.
Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability purposes. We do not use those logs to identify or track individuals.
If you write to us
The contact form does not send anything to this website. It opens your own email application with the message prepared, so the only copy that exists is the one you send from your own account.
When your email reaches us we hold your name, address and whatever you chose to tell us, for one purpose: replying to you and continuing the conversation. We do not share it, sell it, or add you to a mailing list. We keep it for as long as the conversation is live, and no longer than two years after it ends.
Your rights
Under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy. Write to hello@modernai.sa and we will answer within thirty days, which is the period the law allows.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may raise it with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority.
Data leaving the Kingdom
Our email is provided by Google Workspace, so a message you send us may be stored on servers outside Saudi Arabia. If that matters to you, write to the address above and say so, and we will arrange another way to talk.
Changes
If this notice changes we will change the date below. There is no version worth hiding.
